The Canon Powershot is so easy to use - I love the automatic settings are great pictures! If I have more time, I want to play with more features, but for now - I'm loving the ease of point and click away. I especially like the image stabilizer like most of my photos from my very active 3.5 years old!

We have a Canon 710, bought last year, but this is rarely out of his case, since we recently got the SD1200. E 'small, thin, has a clear, sharp images, slips easily into a handbag or jacket pocket, takes very clear and crisp close-ups, and has an optical viewfinder which is very useful when shooting action. A couple of things I do not like the controls very little and ring. It would also be nice to have a more powerful zoom lens. I bought this camera for my special lady, but I used more of her.

Although we are a bit 'upset Amazon dropped the price for the more than $ 25 a day in which we bought, on the whole we are very pleased with the camera. It takes excellent pictures at night without a tripod or having to hold the camera still. This was a big problem with previous cameras I have owned. Also, the battery life on this camera is incredible. We literally have not had to load it again, despite having taken hundreds of photos in 2 weeks! Incredible. The design of this device is perfect … is so small, chic and get everyone's attention! Really can not go wrong with Canon.

It is usually a great camera for its size and price. Wide opening photos in good lighting, in which he excelled, as portrayed in the cloudy day. Unfortunately, the size of the camera means that some very tight conditions in which you can get good photos. Hole in the high f / # (ie when the opening to stop less light) is so small that you get a clear diffraction blur. Take a picture in landscape mode outdoors on a sunny day (which stops the objective of increasing the depth of field), for example, and you will notice some blurred images because of the small hole.
